Jim Hoffman is a Condition Monitoring Engineer at AssetWatch with over 20 years of experience in maintenance and reliability, including a decade focused on vibration analysis and predictive maintenance. He delivers data-driven insights that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime, with experience across industries such as water utilities, roofing materials, semiconductors, and Department of Defense aircraft manufacturing. Moreover, Jim is skilled in vibration analysis, field balancing, precision laser alignment, and infrared thermography, and utilizes advanced technologies including motion amplification and commercial drone inspections. He holds ISO Category II Vibration Analyst and Thermography Level I certifications and is an FAA Licensed Commercial Remote Drone Operator with certification in practical field balancing.
